Problem:
Plugging in a high current USB device on the Raspberry Pi causes the Pi to reboot because of a current dip to the main cpu. Some say this is non-compliant to the USB 2.0 standard, as the standard covers this issue.Solution:
1) Add good size capacitor2) Directly wire USB port power to the Pi power source.
